Art Re Hub
Про проект
In 2014 Russia started an armed conflict in Eastern part of Ukraine. From the start of the war 500 000 soldiers were drafted and served there. Around 80% of them have PTSD symptoms.
In Ukraine, the issue of veterans rehabilitation and therapy cannot be tackled only with government resources, that is why a number of volunteer initiatives appeared to help to cover the blind spots in this area.
ArtReHub is one of such initiatives that started as a volunteer art rehabilitation courses for ATO (anti terroristic operation) veterans and ATO volunteers by artist Zinayida, based on her own method.
Nowadays, the situation for the artist should not only be to provide people with aesthetic joy from their artwork and actualize immediate issues, but also to do good for the society.
